Mature Preneurs Talk with Diana Todd-Banks

Aug 9, 2018

Peter Mehit decided, “I don’t need this any more,” - a bold decision after a bad corporate review. Nearing 50, leaving his six-figure corporate job Peter started his own consulting business realising there are times in life when a bold step is needed. That move, turned Peter’s life into an exciting new journey. The story of people consciously leaving corporate life about 50 is not new but what happens after can become an exciting new journey, or perhaps the opposite where many flounder wondering what to do with their life. The over 50’s have a lot of knowledge and skills which they often ignore, listen to the podcast to hear Peter explain more. At the start Peter decided to help people plan, fund and launch their businesses, so they can get the most out of their ongoing companies. By making every possible mistake you can make, that made Peter a hugely valuable resource to his clients. The following years have been the challenging and rewarding, enabling him to grow in ways he didn’t think possible, but Peter stressed others can also have a similar positive outcome. The energy of working with business owners and seeing their dreams become a reality is amazing. While the entrepreneur’s journey is not for everyone, it can be a great way to spend your life certainly when helping others.  You will always be learning and growing - your world will always be enlarging along with your skills and mindset. After helping over 2,500 people launch, improve and sell their businesses, one key issue has stood out that is with business planning regardless of size, large or a small site. See Peter's website for solutions to all that.
